We are seeking a Lecturer - Course Leader - Art & Design to join our team. In this role you will, undertake all core teaching, learning, assessment, and curriculum development responsibilities associated with the Lecturer role, while also providing academic leadership and operational oversight across designated programmes within the Further/Higher Education provision. The postholder will be accountable for the overall quality, coherence, and performance of the programme, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education that promotes academic excellence, student engagement, retention, and positive progression outcomes.
Job Responsibility:
Undertake all core teaching, learning, assessment, and curriculum development responsibilities associated with the Lecturer role
Provide academic leadership and operational oversight across designated programmes within the Further/Higher Education provision
Accountable for the overall quality, coherence, and performance of the programme
Ensure delivery of high-quality education that promotes academic excellence, student engagement, retention, and positive progression outcomes
Responsible for the whole study programme overseeing the academic quality, delivery, enrichment, student outcomes and course administration
Monitor standards of students’ work against awarding organisation guidelines and raise achievement levels
Work with area leadership teams to ensure management of quality assurance and provision
Ensure appropriate requirements are met for external verification
