Job Description:

This is a long-term contract position where you will play a pivotal role in managing leave requests and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and policies. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in benefits administration and a strong ability to resolve customer service concerns effectively.

Job Responsibility:

  • Evaluate and approve or deny leave of absence requests and return-to-work forms based on organizational eligibility criteria
  • Provide accurate interpretations of benefits laws, including Paid Sick Leave Laws and other relevant regulations
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable benefit policies, procedures, and legal requirements
  • Act as the primary escalation point for resolving customer service issues related to leave and benefits
  • Respond to legal requests for documentation tied to compliance complaints or potential litigation
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to maintain accurate records and streamline processes
  • Conduct audits to ensure accuracy and adherence to internal and external regulations
  • Utilize tools such as ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian for tracking and managing leave and benefits data
  • Facilitate communication with employees and management regarding leave policies and procedures
  • Support claim administration and COBRA processes as needed
