We are seeking a detail-oriented Leave Administrator with hands-on Dayforce experience to support the administration of employee leave programs and related processes. This role will be responsible for managing leave requests, maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations, and serving as a key point of contact for employees, managers, and internal stakeholders throughout the leave process.
Job Responsibility
Administer employee leave of absence programs, including FMLA, ADA, parental leave, personal leave, disability, workers’ compensation, and other company-sponsored leave programs
Review, track, and process leave requests in accordance with internal policies and applicable federal, state, and local regulations
Maintain and update leave cases in Dayforce, ensuring accuracy of employee data, documentation, approvals, status changes, and return-to-work dates
Serve as a primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding leave eligibility, required documentation, timelines, and available benefits
Coordinate with Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits, and managers to ensure proper handling of leave-related pay, benefits continuation, and job protection requirements
Monitor leave balances, intermittent leave usage, and return-to-work documentation
Communicate with third-party administrators, healthcare providers, and internal stakeholders as needed to support case resolution
Ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA, PWFA, state leave laws, and company policies
Generate reports and audit leave data within Dayforce to identify discrepancies and ensure accurate recordkeeping
Assist with process improvements, policy updates, and employee education related to leave administration
Support unemployment claims, accommodation tracking, or other HR operations functions as needed
Requirements
Hands-on Dayforce experience
Experience administering various types of leaves
Strong knowledge of relevant leave laws and regulations
Ability to navigate HRIS platforms, particularly Dayforce, with accuracy and efficiency
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
