Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Leave Administrator to oversee and manage statutory, and company leave programs in a multi-state environment. This Contract position requires expertise in navigating federal, state, and local leave laws while ensuring compliance and consistency playing a critical role in advising on leave policies, resolving complex cases, and collaborating with key stakeholders to maintain compliance and mitigate risks.

Job Responsibility

  • Interpret and apply federal, state, and local leave laws, ensuring compliance across all employee groups
  • Manage and resolve escalated leave cases, providing advanced analysis and judgment in complex scenarios
  • Assess risks related to leave policies and recommend improvements to processes or procedures
  • Support audits and represent the organization during regulatory inquiries and compliance reviews
  • Oversee the configuration and functionality of leave administration systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
  • 3 + years multi-state leave administration experience
  • Advanced knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and other federal and state leave regulations
  • Proven ability to exercise independent judgment and resolve complex leave cases
  • Experience working with leave management systems
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with HR, Payroll, and management.
