Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and organized Leasing Assistant to join our client's dynamic team. This is an exceptional opportunity to jumpstart your career in business administration with a global leader in talent solutions. This position begins as a 6-month contract with a strong possibility of transitioning into permanent full-time positions depending on your performance. As a Leasing Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth day-to-day leasing operations and maintaining excellent tenant relationships. You will work closely with Leasing Coordinators, the Leasing Manager, and the Maintenance Manager to support the property's overall success.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist Leasing Coordinators, Leasing Manager, and Maintenance Manager with day-to-day leasing operations
  • Prepare & maintain detailed records for leases, tenant welcome packages, assignments, lease amendments, and correspondence
  • Audit tenant ledgers regularly for accuracy
  • Follow up with tenant arrears & assist with collections as appropriate
  • Update monthly preauthorized debit changes to Tenants' accounts
  • Prepare daily, weekly & monthly notices regarding rent, renewals, and other tenant communications
  • Perform data entry tasks related to lease administration & maintain organized filing systems

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Previous experience in property management or a related field is preferred
  • Familiarity with Spectra or similar customer relationship management (CRM) systems is a plus
  • Strong administrative skills with proficiency in data entry & Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing multiple tasks simultaneously

Nice to have

  • Previous experience in property management or a related field is preferred
  • Familiarity with Spectra or similar customer relationship management (CRM) systems is a plus
