We are looking for a personable and highly organized Leasing Agent to support daily leasing and resident-facing operations at a community in Claymont, Delaware. This is an onsite Long-term Contract opportunity with a Monday through Friday schedule, ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with prospective residents and thrives in a fast-paced property environment. The role focuses on guiding visitors through the property, supporting leasing activity, and helping maintain a welcoming and well-organized experience throughout the community.
Job Responsibility
Welcome prospective residents and lead in-person tours throughout the apartment community, highlighting features, amenities, and leasing options
Build strong rapport with visitors and use consultative sales techniques to help convert interest into lease commitments
Manage day-to-day leasing administration, including follow-up communication, appointment coordination, and accurate record maintenance
Support front-office property operations by responding to inquiries and providing timely assistance to residents and guests
Keep leasing files, guest traffic records, and related documentation organized and up to date
Use property management platforms such as Yardi to track activity, update information, and support leasing workflows
Partner with onsite leadership to ensure an appealing presentation of the property and a positive visitor experience
Adapt quickly to business needs during contract coverage and contribute to smooth onsite operations throughout the assignment
Requirements
At least 3 years of experience in property management, leasing, or a related residential real estate role
Demonstrated success in a customer-facing sales environment with the ability to confidently close leasing opportunities
Strong interpersonal skills and a detail-oriented approach when interacting with prospective residents, tenants, and staff
Excellent organizational abilities with strong attention to detail and follow-through on multiple priorities
Ability to learn new processes quickly and work effectively in an onsite office setting
Experience using Yardi Software or similar property management systems
Background in residential property management
