Job Description:

We are looking for a Leasing Agent to join our team at a residential property in Concord, California. In this role, you will play a vital part in helping prospective tenants find their ideal housing, ensuring smooth move-ins, and maintaining high resident satisfaction. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for growth in the property management field.

Job Responsibility:

  • Respond to inquiries from prospective tenants, providing detailed information about available units and property features
  • Conduct property tours to showcase units and highlight their benefits
  • Process rental applications, including performing credit and background checks
  • Prepare lease agreements and ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately
  • Coordinate move-in processes to ensure a seamless experience for new residents
  • Market available units through effective advertising strategies to attract potential renters
  • Maintain strong relationships with current residents by addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure units are move-in ready and well-maintained
  • Utilize property management software, such as Yardi, to manage tenant records and property data
  • Uphold compliance with property management policies and local regulations

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in leasing, property management, or a related field
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required
  • Familiarity with property management software, especially Yardi, is highly preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with residents and prospects
  • Ability to handle administrative tasks with accuracy, including data entry and documentation
  • Knowledge of real estate leasing practices and local housing regulations
  • Proven marketing skills to promote available units and attract tenants
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently

Nice to have:

Familiarity with affordable housing regulations is preferred
