Looking for a Leasing Administrator to join a fast-growing commercial property management group in Bethesda, Maryland. In this role, you will support the leasing and management of commercial properties, ensuring they are presented at their best to prospective tenants. This position requires strong organizational skills, exceptional customer service, and the ability to manage the leasing processes efficiently. Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct property tours and close lease agreements with prospective tenants
  • Maintain accurate records of property traffic and leasing activities using AppFolio
  • Process tenant applications promptly, verifying qualifications and scheduling lease signings
  • Collect rental deposits, complete lease agreements, and conduct periodic inspections of leased premises
  • Monitor tenant insurance compliance annually
  • Track upcoming lease renewals, provide appropriate notice to tenants, and process any tenant changes in AppFolio database
  • Monitor collection of security deposits, rents, along with potential late charges for delinquent accounts
  • Coordinate and distribute marketing materials, including flyers and outreach campaigns, to promote available spaces
  • Communicate professionally with tenants, applicants, and external partners to address inquiries and concerns
  • Support the team in achieving property management goals and maintaining a positive team dynamic.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leasing or property management, preferably in a commercial setting
  • Proficiency in using AppFolio or similar property management software
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills to address tenant and property issues
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines
  • Knowledge of local market trends and competition is highly desirable
  • High level of professionalism and adherence to company policies
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
