Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated professional to monitor and optimize the production of assigned wells. This role involves ensuring the secure and environmentally safe operation of all wells and leases under your responsibility.

Job Responsibility:

  • Gauge production on assigned wells, report gauge readings, downtime, and other well information
  • Perform lease maintenance, including minor surface pump and production equipment repairs and adjustments
  • Identify issues and recommend actions to decrease costs and increase production
  • Assist in witnessing meter calibrations, monitor rates and pressures on injection and disposal wells, make necessary adjustments, monitor chemical use, and test safety systems daily to maximize production
  • Operate and maintain various equipment associated with well production, including wellheads, pumping units, separators, heater treaters, natural gas compressors, artificial lift equipment and more

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Eligibility to drive a company vehicle
  • Satisfactory background check and drug screen
  • Working knowledge of safe oil and gas production operations
  • Downhole knowledge
  • Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations, good mechanical aptitude, writing skills, and a good safety and driving record
  • Dependability and ability to work overtime if necessary
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Awareness of cost metrics and analysis
  • Basic knowledge of downhole operations, failure analysis, and best practices
  • Working knowledge of facility construction practices and standards
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and initiative on team tasks
  • Interest in engineering principles and understanding of subsurface and surface equipment and operations
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position
  • Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship
