Our Property team is seeking a proactive Lease Administration Manager to join us on a permanent part-time job-share basis - 5 days per fortnight (2 days - Week 1 and 3 days - Week 2 between Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm). This is a permanent part-time job share role where you will be managing property leasing across all Demant entities in the Asia Pacific region. The purpose of the role is to oversee end to end lease administration across Demant entities in the Asia Pacific region. The role ensures all lease documentation and contractual obligations are accurately managed throughout the lease lifecycle - new leases, renewals, options, variations and terminations - while coordinating internal and external stakeholders to achieve commercially sound outcomes, maintain strong governance and reduce property risk.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage the full lease lifecycle across a multi-site portfolio, ensuring strong governance, accurate documentation, and reduced property risk
  • Negotiate lease documentation with landlords, agents and legal representatives to support renewals, options, variations and terminations
  • Coordinate execution of lease documents, maintain complete lease files, and ensure records remain accurate, current and audit-ready
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to define lease parameters and constraints, and communicate progress clearly through to finalisation
  • Manage and approve property-related invoices (rent, outgoings and other costs), including month-end cost recognition and accruals
  • Maintain and improve property information systems (e.g., lease register, HSP database) and deliver timely reporting on service agreements, KPIs and compliance requirements
  • Support resolution of escalated landlord/facilities matters by interpreting lease obligations, coordinating stakeholders, and maintaining strong service relationships

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience in lease administration / property management within a multi-site retail environment
  • Strong understanding of Retail Leases / Retail Tenancy legislation and the ability to interpret and apply lease terms confidently
  • Strong attention to detail and financial acumen (including invoice approvals, accruals, and reporting support for budgeting)
  • Experience in contract administration, due diligence and documentation management
  • Confident communicator with proven negotiation and stakeholder management skills (internal + external)
  • Ability to manage competing priorities independently, with sound judgement and clear written reporting
What we offer:
  • Hybrid working environment
  • Competitive Remuneration Package + Super
  • ‘MyRewards program – a program that offers discounts to more than 300 retailers and services across Australia
  • Online Wellbeing centre – a platform offering activities, workouts, meditations, nutritional and financial advice
