Job Description:

Make a difference in the lives of exceptional learners by stepping into the role of a Learning Support Worker in our supportive and inclusive school. This Ofsted Outstanding adult education centre supports students with Autism and associated conditions, delivering person-centred support and customized learning programs that empower learners to embrace independence, foster social inclusion, and make positive life choices.

Job Responsibility:

Designing and implementing tailored learning programs
Offering unwavering support
Nurturing a sense of independence and inclusion

Requirements:

Experience of working in community based services or with young adults with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
Comfortable working with challenging behaviour
Ability to work as a team and build relationships with learners, parents and staff
A positive and resilient attitude
Minimum Grade C or equivalent, in English Language & Maths is desirable
Care certificate is desirable
Own means of transport desirable
