Job Description:

Support Worker - SEN College - Cranleigh: Empowering Young Adults. We're seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our innovative SEN college in Cranleigh, Surrey. We provide a supportive and stimulating environment for young adults aged 18-35, helping them develop essential life skills, work experience, and educational qualifications.

Job Responsibility:

Provide individual and group support
Assist with developing essential life skills
Facilitate work experience opportunities
Encourage and motivate
Collaborate with the college's team of therapists and educators

Requirements:

A valid DBS check
A full driving licence (preferred)
Experience working with individuals with special needs
Patient, understanding, and possess excellent communication skills
Comfortable working with students who may exhibit challenging behaviour
Positive and encouraging approach
Passionate about helping individuals achieve their goals
Confident working in the community with learners

Nice to have:

Health and social care experience
Health and social care qualifications (NVQ)
HLTA
NVQ level 2
NVQ level 3
NVQ level 4
