Passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs? Randstad Education is supporting a fantastic specialist SEN school in Surrey. They're seeking a dedicated Learning Support Worker to join their supportive team.

Job Responsibility

  • You'll provide crucial 1:1 and small group support to students aged 4-19 with Autism
  • Assisting with IEPs
  • Promoting independence
  • Managing behaviour
  • Contributing to a positive learning environment
  • Personal care may be required

Requirements

  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school setting
  • A genuine passion for working with complex needs
  • Strong communication skills, patience, and empathy
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Understanding of safeguarding
  • Essential: e.g., GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4)

Nice to have

Experience in managing challenging behaviour
