Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of Learners? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Learning and Support Worker to join our team! You will be providing engaging enrichment activities that help learners strengthen skills, build confidence, and enjoy learning on an outreach basis. We have a great opportunity available to join Novus, our prison education provider at HMP Wealstun, working as a Learning and Support Worker. This role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis, working 37 hours per week.

Job Responsibility:

Providing engaging enrichment activities that help learners strengthen skills, build confidence, and enjoy learning on an outreach basis

Requirements:

  • Hidden Difficulties Level 2 or equivalent (or be willing to work towards within an agreed timeframe)
  • Level 2 qualifications in Literacy and Numeracy (or be willing to work towards within an agreed timeframe)
  • Achievement of performance targets
  • Accurate and timely reporting
  • Positive team working
