In this role, you would provide high quality support to college students and liaise with colleagues, and external agencies in order to meet the College’s mission, aims and objectives.
Job Responsibility:
Providing 1:1 or small group intervention support to learners with SEMH needs
Supporting learners with emotional literacy and positive coping strategies
Supporting learners with personal development, social skills and confidence building
Tracking the progress of learners with SEMH needs to monitor the impact of the interventions
Documenting the support provided to learners on relevant College systems
Liaising with teaching colleagues, parents and external agencies
Making referrals to external agencies
Requirements:
Relevant teaching qualification for post-16 Education
Relevant SEMH / Mental Health support qualification
