Learning Support Practitioner - Adult Learning

At Barking & Dagenham College, inclusion is at the heart of everything we do. Are you passionate about supporting adult learners to achieve their full potential? We are looking for 2 dedicated Learning Support Practitioners to join Horizons team,to support 19+ learners in class, within a dynamic and inclusive college environment. In this role, you will provide high-quality, tailored support to adult learners with additional learning needs. You will work one-to-one, within the classroom, and in small groups to help learners access and succeed in Maths, English, ESOL and vocational programmes. You will play a key role in promoting independence, building confidence and ensuring that support is responsive to individual learner needs. Through your work, you will empower learners to progress successfully in their studies and achieve their wider personal and career aspirations
