As a Learning Support Officer, you will provide vital support to the Learning & Development (L&D) team. Your role is to facilitate the research, design, delivery, and administration of learning solution programs for a diverse workforce, ensuring high-quality educational outcomes and seamless program execution.
Job Responsibility:
System Administration: Serve as the Divisional System Administrator for the Learning Management System (LMS), collaborating with other administrators to optimize system use
Reporting & Analysis: Utilise the LMS and other business intelligence systems to provide performance reporting and respond to general L&D inquiries
Course Coordination: Manage training course logistics, including RTO administration, preparing training materials, data entry, and monitoring participant cancellations
Program Design: Assist in the design of training programs, including induction programs where relevant
Process Maintenance: Maintain L&D processes, templates, and audit requirements to ensure compliance and consistency
Relationship Management: Develop collaborative working relationships with colleagues and business partners to enable effective program delivery
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for innovation and knowledge sharing to support positive business outcomes
Requirements:
Performance Excellence: Ability to contribute to team direction, give/receive feedback, and achieve high performance standards
L&D Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge (or the ability to quickly acquire it) of the successful operation of a learning and development function
Technical LMS Skills: Proven ability to perform system administrator functions, including data management, delivery management, and reporting
Communication: Well-developed interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a focus on pursuing continuous improvement opportunities
Accountability: Ability to prioritise and deliver tasks on time and to a high standard
Software Proficiency: Ability to effectively utilise various corporate and business software applications
Eligibility: Must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a visa permitting permanent work in Australia
Background Check: A criminal history check will be undertaken for the preferred applicant
