Learning Support Officer

• support students identified with additional needs
• work under the direction of the Learning Diversity Leader and in collaboration with classroom teachers
• provide support to enable the students equal access to the curriculum

• possess a current WWCC and Police Check
• demonstrate some knowledge in how to support students in their learning
• demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team
• demonstrate a passion for learning and instill this in the students
• demonstrate the capacity to work with individual or small groups of students
• have the capacity to enrich and enhance the development of our school culture
• have some experience in working with students with additional needs
• be flexible and open to working with students across all year levels
• Applicants must have a commitment to the ethos of Catholic education

Experience working with children with additional needs would be an advantage but not necessary
