Job Description:

Learning Support Mentor position in a Secondary School in Lewisham, providing dedicated support to students daily. Full-time position for the full academic year starting September 2025, working with students across KS3, KS4 & KS5.

Job Responsibility:

Leading tailored support sessions with identified students across the school
Aiding students to improve in areas of academic weakness
Working alongside SEN students (ASD, ADHD, SP&L etc)
Holding 1:1 and group academic support sessions for students
Promoting a purposeful and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

Degree in Psychology or related from a reputable University
Passion for the curriculum and supporting young people
Previous experience working with SEN needs (ASD, ADHD, SP&L etc)
Ability to effectively establish and maintain positive working relationships

Nice to have:

Experience working with SEN needs (ASD, ADHD, SP&L etc)
Aspiring to become an Educational Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Therapist, Youth Worker
