Job Description:

Are you ready to make a real impact in the classroom? A large, vibrant primary school in Littlehampton is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join their dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils in achieving their full potential in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Job Responsibility:

Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils who need extra help
Assisting with classroom activities and adapting resources to meet individual needs
Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional well-being
Working closely with teachers and the SENCO to deliver tailored learning strategies

Requirements:

Experience in supporting children in an educational setting
SEN experience is a bonus
A caring, patient, and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to helping every child succeed
Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced check for Regulated Activity with the Disclosure & Barring Services

Nice to have:

SEN experience
