This school is a specialist school that supports severe and complex needs SEN needs, currently recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant. The role entails supporting children on a 1:1, small group and whole class basis, and being integral in ensuring their well-being, building confidence, developing life skills and encouraging socialisation. Required on a full time permanent basis, term time only, Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30pm.
Job Responsibility
Supporting children on a 1:1, small group and whole class basis
Supporting the 'whole child' in education, well-being, confidence, life skills, and socialisation
Supporting the delivery of engaging and interactive lessons and learning activities
Communicating with teachers over pupils' progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents' evenings and whole school training events
Requirements
Relevant SEN experience (desirable)
Previous experience working or volunteering with children or young adults (desirable)
English and Maths GCSE or equivalent
