Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Oasis Academy Long Cross for an enthusiastic and caring individual to provide support for learning activities on an individual or small group basis in our Academy, under the direction of the line manager.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide support for learning activities on an individual or small group basis
  • Focus on developing phonics and reading provision across the Academy

Requirements:

  • At least an NVQ2 or equivalent qualification or be working towards this
  • Experience of working with children in either a mainstream or special school provision
  • Good understanding of child development
  • Clear knowledge of the curriculum
  • Good knowledge and experience of phonics
  • Ability to speak fluent spoken English
