Affinity Partnerships are looking for a full-time learning support assistant to work in multi-academy trusts in the South Gloucestershire area. The ideal candidate would have experience working with children, whether that’s as a teaching assistant or other work involving working with children, confidence in working with children with a variety of learning abilities and needs, be encouraging and positive as well as being supportive to their educational needs.
Requirements:
Experience working with children (e.g., as a teaching assistant)
Confidence in working with children with a variety of learning abilities and needs
Must be able to drive and have access to a car
Sound understanding of Primary/Secondary Education
Excellent literacy, numeracy, and communication skills
Confidence supporting the KS1, KS2, KS3 and KS4 curriculum
Experience of supporting children in all aspects of the curriculum
Team player, with initiative and good sense of humour
Experience of working with children with a range of additional needs including Autism, Speech and language difficulties both in small groups and 1:1
Positive approach and flexible to the demands of the job
