Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? We are looking for dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join a beautiful SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school in Horsham, supporting children and young people aged 6–18 years.
Job Responsibility:
Supporting students with SEMH needs in both one-to-one and small group settings
Helping pupils to build confidence, develop positive relationships, and increase their self-esteem
Contributing to a calm, structured environment that fosters emotional and academic development
Working closely with teaching staff to implement positive behaviour management strategies
Assisting with the delivery of engaging, inclusive learning tailored to individual needs
Requirements:
Someone calm, patient, and nurturing with a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable children
Able to commit full-time, long-term with a view to becoming a permanent team member
Willing to apply for a DBS on the update service (or already registered)
Nice to have:
Experience in a similar setting is desirable
