Job Description

Learning Support Assistant – Daily supply from as soon as possible. These flexible opportunities are ideal for Learning Support Assistants who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across further and higher education settings in Norwich and the surrounding areas.

Job Responsibility

  • Support students with a range of learning needs in classroom and independent study environments
  • Work closely with lecturers and support teams to implement individual learning plans
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to help students access course content
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being
  • Assist with mobility, communication, and personal care where required
  • Help create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment

Requirements

  • Experience supporting learners with SEND or additional needs in educational settings
  • Confident working with young adults and adapting to different subject areas
  • Patient, empathetic and adaptable to changing needs
  • Able to follow safeguarding and behaviour policies consistently
  • Willing to commit to daily supply work across multiple colleges and universities
  • Relevant qualifications such as Level 2/3 Support in Education or equivalent are desirable
