Job Description:

Are you passionate about supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)? Do you possess a good sense of humour, along with effective behaviour management strategies? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dedicated team as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) at our outstanding schools in Rainham.

Job Responsibility:

Provide one-to-one and small group support with SEND
Implement effective behaviour management strategies to create a positive learning environment
Demonstrate excellent use of initiative to adapt support techniques to meet individual student needs
Foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages student engagement and confidence
Understand and accommodate different children's needs and learning styles

Requirements:

Eligibility to work in UK
Enhanced child DBS on the update service or willingness to get one
Experience working with children or young people with additional care needs
2 recent professional references
Ability to communicate with and inspire children
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting child welfare
Previous experience working with SEND students is essential
A good sense of humour and a positive attitude towards supporting students
Demonstrated ability in behaviour management strategies
Excellent use of initiative to adapt support techniques
Understanding of different children's needs and learning styles
