Job Description:

Pink Tile Education is supporting a secondary school in Crawley to recruit a Learning Support Assistant. This role involves providing practical and emotional support to students in the classroom, helping them engage with learning and achieve their potential. No teaching qualification is required.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support students with learning and behaviour in the classroom
  • Assist with students who have additional needs or require extra support
  • Help implement lesson plans and learning activities as directed by teaching staff
  • Build positive relationships with students to encourage engagement and motivation
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and support provided

Requirements:

  • Current DBS certificate on the update service
  • Experience working with secondary school students is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to build rapport with students and work as part of a team
  • Reliable, patient, and resilient
