As a Learning Assistant, you will support students requiring additional help with their programmes of study across various areas within College, creating positive relationships with them and assisting them in a classroom or workshop setting. This will include students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities, including emotional, social, behavioural and mobility needs. The work you do as a Learning Assistant will ensure our students’ have a rewarding and fulfilling experience at college.
Job Responsibility:
Support students requiring additional help with their programmes of study across various areas within College
Create positive relationships with students
Assist students in a classroom or workshop setting
Support students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities, including emotional, social, behavioural and mobility needs
Requirements:
Experience of working with people with learning difficulties and disabilities
Effective organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
GCSE (or equivalent) in English at grade C/4 or above
