Job Description:

Learning Support Assistant role working with a pre-verbal child in Year 1 at a primary school in Camden, providing 1:1 support and working with therapy specialists

Job Responsibility:

Provide 1:1 support for a pre-verbal child within Year 1
Work alongside speech therapy and occupational therapy sessions held in school
Use adaptive technologies to support communication and learning
Ensure a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
Provide tailored support to a pre-verbal child with communication challenges

Requirements:

MUST hold valid Positive Handling / Safe Hands restraint training (or equivalent)
Experience with children with communication difficulties is essential
Energetic, compassionate, patient, and skilled in adapting support
Flexible, proactive and a genuine passion for helping pupils flourish
