Job Description:

We’re looking for dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join a warm, welcoming primary school and provide 1:1 support for a pupil with SEN needs in Reception through to Year 2.

Job Responsibility:

  • Working closely with the class teacher to support learning and development
  • Providing tailored 1:1 assistance to help the child thrive
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation
  • Supporting with classroom activities and interventions

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children
  • SEN experience is a bonus
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive approach
  • Ability to build strong relationships and adapt to individual needs
  • Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced check for Regulated Activity with the Disclosure & Barring Services
