Learning Support Assistant

• Working 1:1 or in small groups with students who need an extra boost in core subjects like English, Maths, or Science
• Partnering with the Class Teacher to keep students engaged, focused, and on-task
• Prepare learning materials and create a vibrant, positive classroom environment
• Acting as a positive role model for students aged 11-16, helping them build confidence and resilience
• Observing student performance and providing vital feedback to the teaching staff
• Working closely with students to manage classroom behaviour and keep them focused on their goals

• Previously worked in a school setting or have significant experience coaching/mentoring young people
• Strong verbal and written skills
• You can explain things simply and you are a great listener
