Contract Type: Full-Time Permanent position. Start Date: ASAP. Qualification: SEN experience. Randstad Education is looking for dedicated Learning Support Assistants to provide high-quality 1:1 and small-group support for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). In this role, you will be the vital champion who helps children break through learning barriers, build confidence, and feel safe. This is a full time permanent position and you will be required to support five days a week Monday - Friday inline with school hours.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide targeted 1:1 and small-group support to students with SEN
  • Implement and track progress against Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
  • Assist teachers in adapting learning materials and classroom activities
  • Support student's social, emotional, and behavioural needs
  • Observe, record, and report on student progress to the SENCO

Requirements

  • Proven experience supporting children with SEN (e.g., ASC, SEMH, SpLD)
  • A Level 2/3 qualification in Supporting Teaching & Learning is desirable
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures and the UK curriculum
  • Effective communication and positive behaviour management skills
  • A full, clean driving licence and access to a car
