Job Description:

A truly rewarding position where you’ll support one child throughout their school day, helping them feel confident, secure, and ready to learn. You’ll work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure the pupil can take part in lessons, develop their independence, and experience success in the classroom.

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing 1:1 support during lessons and school activities
  • Helping the pupil access learning through tailored strategies
  • Encouraging social interaction and emotional regulation
  • Supporting routines that help build confidence and consistency
  • Working collaboratively with the class teacher, SENCO, and parents

Requirements:

  • Caring, patient, and genuinely passionate about supporting children
  • Confident building a strong, positive relationship with one child
  • Able to follow guidance and adapt to daily needs
  • Reliable and ready to be an important part of the classroom team
  • Experienced in SEN support (desirable but not essential)
