This role involves providing 1:2:1 support for a 15-year-old girl, helping her to engage with learning and manage social, emotional, and behavioural needs within a structured and supportive environment. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teaching and pastoral staff to provide consistent, individualised support. You will play a key role in helping the student feel safe, regulated, and supported throughout the school day, adapting your approach to meet her emotional and learning needs.

Requirements:
Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH needs
Confidence providing 1:2:1 support
A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Resilience and the ability to remain composed in challenging situations
Must have the right to work in the UK or hold a valid work visa
Provide suitable references for pre-employment checks
Hold an enhanced DBS on the Children’s Workforce (or Children’s & Adults’) update service, or be willing to obtain one
