Job Description:

A vibrant and inclusive primary school in Crawley is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to support pupils in Years 5 and 6. This role focuses on helping older primary pupils develop confidence, independence and readiness for transition to secondary school.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting pupils in Upper KS2 classrooms
  • Working with individuals and small groups
  • Supporting children with additional learning or behavioural needs
  • Encouraging focus, resilience and positive learning attitudes
  • Working closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams

Requirements:

  • Experience working with KS2 pupils
  • Confident supporting behaviour and learning needs
  • Calm, consistent and encouraging approach
  • Passionate about helping pupils succeed
