We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist SEMH school in Horsham, supporting secondary-aged students with social, emotional, and mental health needs. This role involves working closely with teaching staff to support learning, behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and student engagement within a structured and supportive environment.

Requirements
Experience supporting young people with SEMH needs or challenging behaviour
Ability to build positive and trusting relationships with students
Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
A calm, proactive, and empathetic approach
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Must have the right to work in the UK or hold a valid work visa
Provide suitable references for pre-employment checks
Hold an enhanced DBS on the Children’s Workforce (or Children’s & Adults’) update service, or be willing to obtain one
