We are looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) provision. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with students from Year 7 upwards, providing tailored support to help them succeed both academically and emotionally.
Job Responsibility:
Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with SEMH needs
Assist in delivering personalised learning plans and interventions
Support classroom teachers in creating an inclusive learning environment
Help students develop social, emotional, and behavioural skills
Monitor progress and provide feedback to staff and parents
Requirements:
Experience working with children or young people, ideally in an SEMH or SEND setting
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to remain calm and positive in challenging situations
A proactive, empathetic approach to supporting learning and wellbeing
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (due to location)
