Job Description:

Learning Support Assistant graduate position supporting students in intervention sessions, assisting them in areas of academic weakness while also helping them develop and progress in a social capacity. Work closely with experienced teachers and SLTs to report on student progress.

Job Responsibility:

Working with subject teachers and STL to support students across KS3, KS4 & KS5
Leading support sessions for students in both 1:1 and group settings
Encouraging an inclusive and positive environment for the students to work within
Providing support to the school's SEN pupils (ASD, ADHD, SP&L etc)

Requirements:

Degree in Psychology or related course from a reputable University
Be compassionate, caring and a patient person
Be able to work effectively with the wider team and be a team player
Must have a passion for the secondary curriculum and supporting young people

Perfect for aspiring Educational Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Youth Worker, Counsellor
