Job Description:

Rodenhurst School provides individualised SEN education within a tailored therapeutic learning environment specialising in SEMH needs. We are a family feel school who have recently been rated Good by OFSTED. We cater for up to 15 pupils, all of whom have an EHC plan. The LSA role involves supporting these young people with their education and enabling them to be the best they can be and supporting them to discover and achieve towards their future aspirations.

Job Responsibility:

Work alongside teachers to deliver tailored learning activities
Promote emotional regulation, resilience, and social development through therapeutic approaches
Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and achieving personalised targets
Build trusting relationships and provide consistent, empathetic responses to behaviour
Help maintain a safe, calm, and engaging classroom environment

Requirements:

Experience working with children or young people
A nurturing, patient, and emotionally intelligent approach
A team player who values collaboration and reflection
Passionate about inclusive education and committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
