Job Responsibility:
Support learning by working with small groups or individuals to reinforce lesson objectives
Manage behaviour within the classroom to maintain a focused and positive environment
Prepare resources and set up equipment before lessons to ensure a smooth start
Safeguard pupils by following all school policies and child protection procedures
Assist the teacher with administrative tasks and the display of student work
Lead interventions for students requiring extra help with literacy or numeracy
Requirements:
Previous experience supporting children or young adults with additional needs (SEN) or in a coaching/educational capacity
Strong communication, empathy, patience, and the ability to simplify complex tasks into manageable steps
An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one)
