Job Description:

Learning Support Assistants Needed - Make a Difference in North Wales Schools! Due to high demand, we are searching for established education professionals to join our local schools as Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) in and across North Wales. If you have a passion for supporting students with additional needs, or you are an experienced TA looking for a more focused 1-to-1 or small group role, we want to hear from you. We have long-term and day-to-day supply roles available that offer the flexibility or stability you need.

Job Responsibility:

Provide one-to-one support to students who need extra help with their work
Work with small groups of pupils to keep them focused on the task
Explain the teacher's instructions in a simpler way for students
Help students with their reading, writing, or practical activities
Help the teacher manage classroom behaviour and keep students on track
Prepare learning materials and hand out equipment during lessons
Monitor student progress and give feedback to the class teacher
Support student's well being and confidence within the school day
Supervise students during break times and between lesson changes

Requirements:

Previous experience working with children or young people (classroom support, coaching, or youth work) is preferred
A patient, encouraging nature and the ability to explain tasks clearly
You must hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS check and have the right to work in the UK
