Job Description

We are seeking empathetic, energetic, and resilient SEN Teaching Assistants to join an outstanding specialised school community in the East Grinstead area. In this role, you will be supporting unique children and young adults (aged 4-25) who require specialised, attentive care to thrive. You will work alongside a passionate team of educators, therapists, and support staff to make learning accessible, safe, and fun. The student group includes young people navigating: Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Epilepsy and neurological conditions, Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Complex communication and sensory needs. This position is perfect for graduates, care workers, or anyone looking for a career change into education.

  • Work collaboratively with tutors and job coaches to prepare learners for placements and review their progress
  • Promote safeguarding, equality and inclusion at all times
  • Contribute to the smooth running of sessions and placements, including preparing resources and supporting transitions between settings
