Job Description

Holmer Green Junior School is seeking a full-time school Learning Support Assistant to join their vibrant, fun team. The contract will be fixed term for one year with the possibility to extend or become permanent dependent upon performance and requirements of the school. The ideal candidate will be available to start from September 2026.

Job Responsibility

  • deliver targeted support and interventions on both an individual basis as well as within group settings
  • developing positive trusting relationships with both children and adults

Requirements

  • no experience in an LSA role or vast experience
  • passion for supporting the learning of the children within school by working closely with the teaching team and being confident in offering observations and ideas
  • experience in working within an SEN environment
  • proactive individual
  • looking to progress within our school and aspires to grow, learn and develop into HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) or further
