Job Description:

Position: Full-Time, Long-Term (Term Time Only). Salary: £90 - £95 per day (Weekly Pay - dependent on experience). Start Date: Immediate / Next Term. We are seeking Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work across Primary and Secondary settings. Unlike a general assistant, your role is focused on learning outcomes-identifying where a student is struggling and providing the specific scaffolding, tools, and encouragement they need to succeed.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead small group interventions in Literacy and Numeracy
  • Teach students how to learn, focusing on organisation, memory techniques, and confidence-building
  • Differentiating Resources: re-package standard lessons with simplified worksheets, visual aids, or word banks
  • Small Group Leadership: guide 3-5 students through specific tasks
  • Promoting Independence: use scaffold and fade technique
  • Progress Tracking: maintain clear records of student breakthroughs and hurdles

Requirements:

  • Academically Confident: strong GCSEs in English and Maths
