Job Description:

Position: Full-Time, Long-Term (Term Time Only). Salary: £90 - £95 per day (Weekly Pay - dependent on experience). Start Date: Immediate / Next Term. Are you an academically minded, supportive individual with a knack for making difficult concepts 'click'? Join our network as a Learning Support Assistant and help students overcome learning barriers to reach their full potential.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead small group interventions in Literacy and Numeracy
  • teach students how to learn, focusing on organisation, memory techniques, and confidence-building
  • differentiate resources by creating simplified worksheets, visual aids, or word banks
  • lead breakout sessions guiding 3-5 students
  • use scaffold and fade technique to promote independence
  • maintain clear records of student progress

Requirements:

  • Strong GCSEs (especially in English and Maths)
  • ability to explain academic concepts clearly and creatively
  • proactive
  • relevant experience such as university tutoring, coaching, or previous school work
  • holds an enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
  • committed to Safeguarding
