Job Responsibility
Lead small group interventions in Literacy and Numeracy
Teach students how to learn, focusing on organisation, memory techniques, and confidence-building
Differentiating Resources: create simplified worksheets, visual aids, or word banks
Small Group Leadership: guide 3-5 students through specific tasks
Promoting Independence: use scaffold and fade technique

Requirements
Academically Confident: strong GCSEs (especially in English and Maths) and ability to explain academic concepts clearly and creatively
Proactive: can spot a struggling student and move in to offer support before they lose focus
Relevant Experience: university tutoring, coaching, or previous school work, experience helping others learn
Committed: hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply) and 100% dedicated to Safeguarding
