Your Role as an LSA As a Learning Support Assistant, you are the link between the teacher's high-level plan and the student's individual understanding. Differentiating Resources: Take a standard lesson and re-package it-creating simplified worksheets, visual aids, or word banks-to suit the specific needs of the learners you support. Small Group Leadership: Take charge of breakout sessions, guiding 3-5 students through a specific task to ensure they aren't overwhelmed by the pace of the main classroom. Promoting Independence: Use the scaffold and fade technique-providing heavy support initially and gradually stepping back as the student gains the confidence to work alone. Progress Tracking: Maintain clear records of student breakthroughs and hurdles, providing vital data to the Class Teacher and SENCO to help shape future lessons.

Requirements:
