Requirements

A minimum of 2 months of experience working or volunteering with individuals who have Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Empathy, patience, a calm demeanour under pressure, and a great sense of humour
Reliability: Excellent attendance and punctuality to ensure consistency for our pupils
Flexibility: Availability for at least 3 days a week between Monday and Friday (9:00 AM - 4:00 PM)

Job Responsibility

Individualised Support: Assisting pupils with their academic, social, and emotional development, adapting to their unique communication and learning styles
Safety & Wellbeing: Providing a secure environment for pupils with complex needs, including monitoring those with epilepsy or specific medical conditions (full training provided)
Classroom Collaboration: Helping the class teacher implement tailored learning plans and tracking pupil progress
Building Confidence: Encouraging independence and life skills, helping our young people celebrate their daily wins
