Job Description

You will act as a strategic learning and performance partner to business and HR leaders, shaping and delivering initiatives that build future-ready skills & capabilities, accelerate talent growth, and drive high performance through learning and embedding initiatives within teams. You will balance strategic influence with hands-on programme management, ensuring talent development priorities translate into meaningful business impact. You will work in partnership with the Vodafone Learning Organisation, HR Centres of Expertise and suppliers to leverage and tailor solutions for Vodafone Ireland.

Job Responsibility

  • Business Partnering: Partner with Business Leaders, Vodafone Learning Organisation, COEs and HR Business partners to understand strategic priorities, diagnose capability gaps, and translate needs into clear talent and development actions
  • Translate the capability gaps identified into clear, actionable programme plans, from learning to embedding
  • Act as a trusted advisor — supporting, challenging, and influencing stakeholders to make evidence-based talent decisions
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to identify opportunities that strengthen internal mobility and support career progression across vertical and lateral pathways
  • Talent Management: Build and own the plan for Talent evolution in your business areas, ensuring talent development is central to each business area’s priorities, with a focus on diversity and inclusion
  • Enable people leaders to understand their role in supporting on our talent, facilitate high quality talent reviews, ensuring clear actions, succession depth, and strong follow through on development commitments
  • Shape and present business cases for new talent or development programmes aligned to strategic needs and enable greater focus on growth experiences
  • Monitor and support our talent management agenda to enable greater feedback culture within the business to allow people and teams to operate at their best
  • Partner with Vodafone globally to unlock potential opportunities for Ireland Talent, enabling greater growth experiences, mobility opportunities and career progression
  • Capability & Learning: Design, build, and deliver upskilling and reskilling programmes that develop critical future focused skills, in partnership with vendors and areas of expertise

  • Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of learning solutions — improving content, delivery, and adoption based on data and feedback
  • Foster a continuous learning environment that drives high engagement, practical application, and measurable uplift in capability
  • Performance Culture: Enable embedding and adoption of learning programmes, by supporting individuals and people leaders to adapt new ways of working that will embed new capabilities
  • Partner with leaders to strengthen a high-performance culture by embedding effective performance and development practices
  • Support the performance cycle within your business area, ensuring quality conversations, meaningful goal setting, and clear development actions
  • Use outcomes from talent, learning, and performance processes to shape recommendations that improve organisational performance
  • Data, Insights and Reporting: Use data from talent reviews, skills assessments, performance cycles, and workforce analytics to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Provide insight driven recommendations, using evidence to challenge assumptions and support talent investments
  • Track and report on learning impact, capability uplift, mobility, and talent outcomes to demonstrate return on investment and inform strategy updates
  • Utilise the system capabilities and third-party support to simplify how we operate, ensuring tracking, monitoring and reporting is a streamlined way of working for our team

Requirements

  • Strong strategic business partnering capability with the ability to influence and challenge confidently
  • Experience in Talent Management and Learning & Development
  • Programme and project management skills, with the ability to execute at pace in matrix environments
