Job Description

As our first dedicated Learning & People Experience Specialist, you’ll play a key role in shaping how employees learn, grow, and connect at Designity from day one and beyond. This is a highly hands-on, creative role, focused on building engaging and scalable learning programs while elevating the overall employee journey to drive performance, connection, and long-term engagement.

Job Responsibility

  • Build and drive the end-to-end onboarding experience across departments
  • Design and lead training programs from scratch
  • Develop and implement reinforcement mechanisms (certifications, quizzes) and creative learning touchpoints
  • Drive consistency across teams by standardizing how onboarding, training, and core processes are experienced
  • Track and analyze the effectiveness of onboarding and training initiatives
  • Serve as a go-to resource for employees and managers on onboarding and training-related topics
  • Act as a connector across teams
  • Drive employee experience initiatives that improve engagement and satisfaction

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development, People Operations, HR, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience building and running onboarding and training programs across departments in a scaling organization
  • Strong ability to break down complex topics into simple, structured, and engaging learning experiences
  • Practical understanding of adult learning principles and employee experience best practices
  • Experience creating interactive workshops, training sessions, and educational content that drives participation
  • A creative mindset with a strong instinct for making learning more engaging, fun, and effective
  • Clear, confident communication and the ability to lead sessions with energy and presence
  • Experience working with or implementing learning tools or LMS platforms
  • Strong execution skills with the ability to own projects with minimal guidance
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • A collaborative, proactive, and growth-oriented mindset

Nice to have

  • Academic background in a related field (Psychology, HR, Education)
  • Experience teaching or creating educational content, such as leading university courses or building your own online programs
